Recorded in part as a decision to break away from all previous relationships and develop an album based on the live/dj touring being done at that time, and the growing community at sundaysoul.com (a weekly digital transmission for 11 years) Bélle Âme Électronique was an effort to get back to the root of the matter, what moved us, and made us move.

As the album approached completion, all 23 tracks were written and recorded, a previous label relationship stepped in and demanded that this album be released as their "option" and not as originally planned. A couple years of argument and difficult conversation killed the captain, and nearly sank the fleet, but inevitably, in the interest of peace and love and music, these 8 songs were selected, an intro and outro added, and there was an agreement.

Then it was requested that Sunshine ask female singers to come and re sing all of the vocals. He asked Aya, Jennifer Mayanja, Monique Bingham, Ledesi, and many of the women he admires deeply for their beautiful voices and amazing talents, but not one of them was available to collaborate. This news disturbed the label, but the production proceeded.
While it was never released as a formal LP or CD, the digital version quietly slipped out, and the remixes were touted far and wide.

So call this a forgotten album. Something skipped. A treasure for you now.
